I have a 225 Merc. EFI on my 2004 pro xl. The engine is a 2004 as well. My tach has quit working. The needle is stuck. I have custom gauges and my tach has the dummy lights built in. The lights still work. I have tried everywhere to buy a replacement tach. I have called Faria along with Stratos and genmar boats. No one can help me. At this point I wouldn't mind adding an aftermarket tach under the dash. In order to do this I need to know what kind of connection I would need at the motor. Someone told me I would have to buy a Tach harness? If anyone could help or has the tach I need and want to sell it; I sure would appreciate it....Thanks and God Bless....
