I am in the process of rebuilding a 24' t craft for tarpon and inshore fishing, does
anyone have info on these boats good or bad, I'm trying to find what h.p.would
work the best.
The hull is done new transom sole and paint just waiting for tower.

thanks in advance Ronnie

Welcome to the iboats Forum! The experts here, which I am not, will help you through any issue. They should be posting something here shortly. My contribution to your question is that my neighbor had a 21ft T-Craft cabin cruiser and it was powered by the old Chevrolet 250c.i., six-cylinder engine with a Mercruiser I/O. Not sure of the horsepower, maybe 165. It was not a speed demon but was built like a tank! Good luck with your project.

Re: T craft

Thanks willy my boat is a center console with a 9'6'' beam and very little deadrise, floats shallow. I'll post some pix when i get a chance. I've seen these boats in the keys most have 200 h.p. outboards.

Re: T craft

i hope you dont trailer that thing much, 9'6" is a whole foot over limit, wide load permits are required for anything over 8'6 unless that was a typo

Re: T craft

ezrider,I own a construction business and haul equipment so 9'6'' is no problem.
No it was not a typo.I have a 72 24' flatback proline it looks like a razor blade
next to the t craft. I know robin bought the molds and made them for a while,
now the outcast 24 is the same hull.
