Wasn't planning on it, but thanks for the heads up. The trailers made it look like liberal Hollywood propoganda and nothing that I really wanted to see.

Absolutely, gives a picture of US Corp. working behind closed doors through bribes etc to deal in oil. The CIA and other government forces working to undermine the governmental authority of middle east countries. Would lead one to believe that some politicos are eliminated by our government for no going along with what we know is best for them. Just anti American. We need the oil and know best how to handle it.

Pretty much any movie with George Clooney in it is worth passing on. The man’s an idiot, and a marginal actor at best.

I dont like Clooney either. Hes made some outrageous comments off screen.<br /><br />However, I did see Oh Brother and I liked it very much. I think he did a good job there, but I wouldnt bother with Syriana unless I use it as a tool to show my sons how Hollywood and its actors use the screen and fame you push agendas that they are not qualified to understand much less push.

Thanks Haut. Your right, I did paint the pic that everyone in Hollywood is clueless. Its probably not the case. My opinion of Clooney is based on comments from him in enterviews talk show appearances. I dont even remember what he said. hard these days to keep them all in order.

In my view, pretty much all movies today are worth passing on. Regardless of political agendas. They are just bad movies and not worth my time or money.

I agree Syriana is a total attempt to show America's corp oil companies in a bad light. Trying to control the oil in the middle east and abuse of power by some in the government to support such nonsense.
