dHadley: You mentioned a sync-n-link issue in one of the previous threads. Will you please explain this and how to adjust? 1989 Rude 88 special.

It's done to synchcronize the carbs & the timing so they operate together. My manual is very specific about how to do it. I imagine most outboards are different & you probably need a manual. My 4 1/2 a lot simpler than my 40.
