Symptoms of Timing Issue?

I was just curious if I could get some symptoms of the timing being off? I don't know that mine is, just looking to gain a little knowledge. Also, are there any links on how to check / correct timing? Thank you in advance.

All that information is in the OEM service manuals. Haven't you visited the Adults only sticky and downloaded one yet??????
