Sychonizing the Carbs on '96 Mariner 90hp OB

I have a 1996 Mariner 90hp 3 cyl Outboard , I want to check the sychonization of the carbs . Does anyone know where I put the test ports on these carbs ?

Yes , I have a tester , But I'm thinking the ports are different than a Yamaha motor .

Synchronizing of carbs is mechanical on Mercs. Not sure about Yammies.

There will be set screws on the carb linkages. You loosen them all, set the throttle closed, and tighten the set screws so the carb throttle plates all open at the same instant.

While you are diddling with that linkage, have a close look at the black, plastic do-dads that connect the throttle rods together. I have found them wallowed out and or cracked such that the link and sync setup can't be achieved. The rest of the link and sync setup is outlined in the service manual.

You are talking about balancing the carbs. Only 4 strks get balanced.
