2005 SX drive, on the dipstick on the top of the drive, how much fluid is represented from the bottom of the flat to the top of the flat...ie if I wanted to "top it off" from near the bottom to the top of the flat, how much would I add...I am assuming it isn't much...and I don't want to overfill it...
Thanks
Scott R.

It's very little but I can't give you an exact number. What you don't do is screw it in and then screw it out to read it. You unscrew, wipe it off drop it in and then pull it out and read it. Should be right in the middle.

Well if i’m not supposed to screw it in, then it is lower than I thought, hitting the middle when I do screw it all the way in...probably would just touch the bottom if just dropped it in...

Just so you know, when you fill up the drive from the bottom and the oil exits the vent hole behind the cover, that pretty much puts it dead on in the middle.
