This year why not switch the dates for Father's Day and Mother's Day? this will give you the "jump" on summer and still have time to buy flowers for her.
Dad needs his marine accessories sooner not later such as
1: A [new] tach
2:Waterpump impeller
3: Battery (he didn't get one at C'mas because "I don't want that thing in the basement off gassing corrosive electrolyte near the cat's litter box for 6 months"! [The urine is corrosive enough]
4: New plugs
5: Oil and or gear lube
6: Wiring/schematic/operator's manual
7: Mooring cover or repair existing one
Most of these items are available on this site and if you get the Tach first you can check your engine's performance 'cause you may need a new........
8: Propeller
