Swim Plate platform/ladder placement

Hey All,

Not sure where to put this question if it needs to be moved I am sorry.



I'm finally to a point where I need to add a swim plateform ladder combination to the old Starcraft.

Anyone know at what point above the bottom of the boat I should attach it to the transom?
