Swap Powerheads? 91 to 97 leg?

I have a blown 97 carb 200hp 2.6 lt non rebuildable. Can I use a "91" 2.6 lt block and use my 97 electronics? from what I can see just the intake design is different but my carbs fit.

I forget what year it changed but the taper on the crankshaft changed and flywheels cannot be interchanged.
