suzuki propellor interchange

I have a good running 1985 15 HP Suzuki with a busted propellor and a non-running 1991 9.9 HP Suzuki "Sail" with a larger prop. I already know that the 9.9 Prop wont fit on the 15 HP Suzuki. My question is: Can I remove the propellor shaft and housing from th 9.9 and will it fit in the lower unit for the 15HP? If not will the 9.9 lower unit fit on the Suzuki 15?

it is a lot easier to pick up a new or used prop for the 15.
Look up the parts for both motors at brownspoint.com and compare the numbers to see
