I have a 2005 Suzuki DF70 on a 14 foot center console. It's used on weekends and rinsed out on Sundays and I always change the fluids every 50 hours. I always run it slow while it's warming up and it's usually cruising below 4000 rpm but sometimes I open it up. How long should it last?

Re: Suzuki DF70 Lifespan

My guess is a long time.
All depends on if you follow all of the recommendation from Suzuki and not just some of them

4 strokes do like to run at the high end of Rpm range and hate trolling. got to keep motor heated up properly

Re: Suzuki DF70 Lifespan

99yam, you have me confused. If 4 strokes do like to run at the top of the RPM range and hate trolling, what good are they ?? If the mtr is designed properly it should idle all day with no probs. JMHO
