Can someone please tell me what the three wires coming out of the control box are for? I bought this boat from a widow and I don't have any history on this boat.. This is 1984 Suzuki DT115 on a Procraft fish and ski.
My only outstanding issue is the power trim switch doesn't work at the front of the boat. It works prefectly fine on the throttle. I traced the wire back from the front switch on the bow to just under the throttle control, to find out they wasn't even hooked up to anything....just wrapped up with electrical tape.
I also discovered two wires coming out of the throttle control box with two plastic plugs capping off the two wires(brown and gray).
The control Box sticker says it's a 36620-92E20 model. I can find many pictures of the control box, but nothing stating what those wires are for. I found one post and people said it for for the Tach, but my Tach works just fine.
The main harness all goes back to the motor.
I found one picture in manual showing two wires with females connector with caps.....it was labeled ext trim switch.
Can anyone confirm this for the secondary trim switch? I don't want to short anything out.
