Hi, first time using forum but I have a strange problem according to my book if the oil flow sensor has a blockage it causes continuity telling cdi to shut power down to 3000 rpm so in trouble shooting a loss of power and buzzer sound I wanted to see what the oil flow sensor buzzer sounded like but when I connected the leads together instead of getting a warning it cleared the warning I was getting and gave me all my power back is it possible that the oil flow sensor works backwards from what the book says or is there a wiring problem somewhere I have taken boat to two different boat mechanics and after paying both combined upwards of $3000 I now am closer it seems to solving my problem then either placed that I took the boat but I dont like the idea of unplugging my oil flow sensor so I would like to figure this out thanks
