I am in the process of making a decision on repowering my boat with either twim Yamaha 300 four strokes or Suzuki 300 four strokes. When I contact dealers that sell both, they say both motors are equal in reliability and fuel performance, but Suzuki gets poorer ratings in parts availability and responsiveness to service issues. On the other hand, the Suzukis are much less expensive and with promotions still in place. What have your experiences been with the Suzuki four strokes ? Thanks.
