We had to do a lot of traveling this winter so we had to take the rv and leave the boats at home. Now that we have most of our business taken care of we are in Florida and in an area where we would love to have a boat and be out fishing. The rv park that we are staying at used to rent canoes but they don't even do that anymore. It is starting to look like I will have to rent a boat and then tow it here so I'll have something to fish out of, or hire a fishing guide if renting the boat costs a lot.

what part of FL are you in? I spent a year in Orlando at the KOA. beautiful place with a very nice lake. Lake Whipporwill....and they rent canoes.

We are staying at Lake Rousseau RV and Fishing resort. Now that the weather is warming up again we were going to rent a boat up river in Dunnellon but the parking lot was full at the place that rents them so we figured all of the boats were probably gone too. We are hopeing that some of these people will get tired of fishing and boating by next week and we will be able to rent one then.

How do you get tired of fishing and boating? Maybe to "broke" to afford to do any more, but never tired of it! Good luck with the boat rental!
