Hello all - just bought my first boat - yes it's a Sunray - bought out by SeaRay? but not sure. So I want to replace the seats and drill new ones where other Wise seats were & captain's seat? I was told to buy 3/4" plywood which I cut in 3 equal strips - then paint over with weather resistant marine paint. There are 90 ways to drill holes into this fibreglass? Can anyone who has drilled their own seats into one of these boats advise ? I took it to Dundas Marine, a Boat Surveyor looked at it..but they don't want to work on it themselves? So it's going to be a DIY project? Any advice would truly help as I'm on my own on this one!!!
