I have a 1999 Bayliner Capri 1850 LS. While towing the boat on the highway, the sundeck area above the motor cover flew off and was never seen again. The Bayliner customer service website describes the part as AFT UPHOLSTERY CANVAS COVER SKIN 77297. My local dealer was helpful, but Bayliner no longer produces this part. Any ideas where I can locate a used one? Thanks in advance for all of your assistance.

No idea on where to find a used one but have you contacted a good upholstery shop to see what they could do for you? Should be fairly straight forward I would think...

You may need to find a kind soul who can let you draw a template for the wood/fiberglass base of the cover (or Bayliner should have this drawing in their records). Then the uphostery shop will be able to pad and cover it.

I think the solution was to take it to an upholstery shop and get a new one made. Maybe take a picture of a boat with the pad in place to give them a better idea of what the finished product should look like.
