Suggested Recommendation to FIX Iboats for interum

As we can all verify next to nothing is working correctly. Most all are trying to hang in here long enough to allow iboats to figure the issues out. Without getting into all what is not working I will suggest going back to a previous version. I would hope someone has a version even a year ago which can be reloaded. Sure we would loose all previous history and postings but it would allow the system to work again.

If this is not possible, I will continue to try and hang in

I am one of "all" and I most certainly would not say "nothing is working correctly"! Look at what loosing a week of posts was like, imagine 3 weeks, 6 months, a year, maybe the whole entire history of this forum GONE! That would be a travesty!! Go back a year and I would no longer exist on the forum!!!!!:blue::faint2::facepalm:

You are getting emails, because you have not changed your profile, you need to go into your profile and define what you want to receive emails from.

I am subscribed to a lot of threads, and this is the only one I receive email notification from since the change over. Have received no emails from previous threads since the change started. After posting to a new thread and going back and then selecting subscribe, and have no notifications from those threads. Recently I have received notifications in my forum message box but that's it. Not complaining, just FYI only.

I don't think so, I get several dozen no subject/blank content email notifications every day, and have been off & on for about a week. I 'think' they are from Topics I subscribe to & are legitimate notifications to updated Topics. There's just no way to figure out which Topic got updated based on the blank content, so I have to dig around thru all the forums where I subscribed to Topics to find what got updated.

Hassle for sure, but manageable.

I just don't read the updates as quickly, and have scan the main forum pages for Topics that seem to have updates since the last time I scanned thru.

The email issue has been a strange one. Some of the mods are getting literally hundreds of them and others, like myself, are getting none. IT is working on it and they have some requests into VB to try to decipher why ... hang in there ...

Since I adjusted my settings, I have not received any type of emails.
