thats a cool thought there derwood, internationally known chef- true, true...... :D
but did it get you outta the doghouse for all your recent deeds? lol
i posted long ago what my favorite breakfast was, but just in case you didn't see it - when fishing at parents up in TN, if we catch some crappie, they are filleted, rinsed, put in bowl of icewater in frig til morning. this seems to pull all blood out. then my dear old mother lightly breads them, puts them in a castiron skillet on low heat with just a little 1/4" slice of stick butter. she browns them on both sides and serves 'em up with some cheese grits and eggs.
ain't nothin better than fresh fish fillets for breakfast! :D

hey tide,
you are darn tooten right. that is my wifes favorite way to cook bream and catfish. me and my daughter have a thing, we will go down to the pond and take some butter and lemon juice in a lunch cooler along with a frying pan. we will fish untill we have caught a nice fish or a couple of small thick ones and cook em up right there. its a fall and winter thing though, its just to dang hot in the summer and the skitters get most of it before we do. we don't have to get the blood out first though, just hang the fish up on the line a minute and the skitters will handle that for ya. :D

derwood.
