Stuck oil filter

Well don’t leave us hanging. What method did you use? I was goin to ditto Airshot’s response?. Neve mind. Saw what you did!

Yep. Backed it out and it dropped into the bilge. Adapter and the oil filter plate.

What size Allen did you end up using just did this with. Boat I picked up. Going to do this today since it’s safe and easier than the alternative methods

I read that is an option. You’re the first person to suggest this. Is this a thing? This is not my boat and I don't want to damage anything. Does that nipple that the filter threads onto back out of there?

What size did you end up using to get it out?
