Just bought an old 1989 Yamaha 140HP and I am having dificulty in getting the prop off.
I have the nut and washer off but the prop is stuck fast. Any one got some hints or tips on how to get it off before I start bashing it and do some damage?
Maybe apply some heat to the prop shaft with a LP torch, but not too much to damage rubber inner hub, grease seals, etc. May have some old hardened grease or corrosion causing sticking of prop.
