Stripped Cover Screw

One of the screws that holds a snap for my boat cover is stripped and doesn't hold the snap tight. If it was wood I would glue in a toothpick and then redrill. How do I fix this since it's fiberglass? Should I just use a litle larger screw?

You could or you can oversize drill it, tape it off from the back side, fill it with 5 minute epoxy, then redrill to the correct size and use the correct size screw.
