Stringers & Transom Replacement!

Has anyone tried using Advantech sheeting for stringers / transom replacement?

I’m a carpenter by trade and know from experience that this stuff is pretty unbelievable as to how well it holds up to moisture. You can supposedly fully submerge it in water for months with zero delam or swelling. I don’t see how there’s anyway a marine grade ply could out perform but maybe I’m wrong.

I got a piece of regular old ext ply. Covered in glass in the back yard. From when I restored my boat. It is a test dummy. All these years it is just fine. Just do a good job you be fine no matter what you use.

Just make sure you use exterior grade.
