Hi, looking for a little help on a fuel mixture for storing a 2001 Yamaha 225 EFI OX66 for the winter in the nertheast for approx. 4 months. A local marina told me to make a 25:1 mix in a seperate container of 89 octane fuel & Yamalube, double the amount of ring free & startron stabilizer & mix, take the hose from the tank put it in the container run it till it warms & fog each cylinder for 10 seconds & I did. Now I'm being told from others that it's to much oil (25:1) in addition to the mix from the pump & i'm gonna have injector & O2 sensor problems when I start it in the spring. Think i'm fine this way? or should I re do it another way? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
