If the dealer did the wiring let them figure it out...shouldn' t cost you for their mistake!!
They are a 4 hour drive through hell to get to. Going back to them isn't about to happen due to the distance. Also the fuel and 407 costs are about $600 each trip so $1200 just to have them solve it and on top of that since it technically works I am willing to bet I would have to pay anyways just maybe a cheaper rate. The entire labour for everything installed was less so way cheaper just to go local and actually might have a friend of a friend do it who I trust to do it right.

Gee, trim switches are usually wired thru a dedicated fuse or direct. Trim is a often a live or death situation, IMO. You cannot have them blow a fuse in heavy seas, for no good reason. Of course, if they short out that cannot be avoided.
I don't know how the trim is but to have power to it I need the main power on. Main power provides power to the fuse panel that has all the extra stuff on it which draws the power. I am guessing the trim isn't in the same fuse panel as it seems to wire to the one near the battery not the one in the console. So for now I am not rewiring anything and just need a solution that will work. In an ideal world all of it would have been factory options and not a worry but sadly don't live with that so work with what I have
