I'm in the reconstruction phase of putting my boat back together, and I have place drain holes in the stringers to drain into the ski locker which has drain holes in the bottom of it to drain into the bilge. How do I stop the foam from expanding through the holes into the ski locker. I have thought about using fiberglass screen for windows over the inside of the hole, but thats my only idea. Any more thoughts would be great.

Re: stopping foam

In my boat I plan on using some 1/2" pvc conduit with several holes drilled down the lenght of them, then I will lay these along each side of the main stringer I will then cover them with cheap masking tape(thanks to crab bait!!). The tape should keep the foam out but the water will flow through the cheap tape :)
Jon

"keep the foam from commin' thru "..

how about keepin' the foam from commin' 'to' the holes an cloggin' them too..
