The anticav plate is about an inch below the bottom of the boat - I think it's supposed to be even with it to minimize drag. I'll adjust the height like you suggested, ss. Thanks!

I'm thinking of getting a Garmin GPS Map 76, sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the above link to Marine Express, but they're out of that prop!

Does anyone know where I can get an 8 x 6 prop (10 spline) for a 1990 Force 15 hp motor?

I just happen to have a 10 spline 8 by 6. I think its a 8 by 6, did they make a 8 by 8 I dont know. It is used but in really good shape with very very minnor nicks. If you interested Pm me I'd be happy to help.
