Still Having spark problems Weak spark

After cleaning starter yesterday I thought I had Problem fixed Not So, Was on water yesterday started at ramp fine , ran great across the lake fine , shut down to fish a while now is when the problems start. Engine will not start. After setting a while and a couple tries it finally started. After Idling due to no wake zone engine dies. Same thing wate awhile then started up ran great at WOT . Got home and put in a barrel checked spark gap it jumped 7/16 at first but then no spark I had to shorten the gap to 5/16 to regain spark Also no change in starter speed cranking is fine Someone mention Stator? Any Ideas?

Update Im not getting any readings ohms or volts from blue wire coming from stator ?

What is your engine s/n and do you have the service manual to enable you to do the tests?

Hi
Can't get the serial # right now outboard is in 50 gal drum. But I do have the correct Service Manual its for #s0D000750 and up I would have to get a dva to do all the checks which Ill do if needed . For now all I have is my multimeter . The book says to check resistance between the red and blue and then red and grd The red to grd read ok but I couldn't get a reading across the blue and red wire What would this indicate

0D000750 is for a:

I see now, 0D00750 is not the s/n of your engine.

Stators what Im thinking but really like to hear everyones input being new to outboard ignition troubleshooting
