sterring problems

i have a 2006 Q4 tahoe with mercurier i/o 3 liter. At idle speed the outdrive seams to wander back and forth left and right making steering a real problem , nothing seems loose . Any body have any ideas ?

I have the same problem and I have a 2011 Q5. The dealer said this is normal at low speeds for an runabout I/O boat.

Chances are its not the outdrive that is wandering. It is the bow of the boat wandering. V-hulled boats will always wander back and forth,it just the nature of the beast.
