Hello I bought this boat over the winter and did not seem to notice any blisters the boat was stored on a lift before I got it and the boat did sit in the water at some time when the lift broke. I have used the boat several times this summer and I have noticed these blisters showing up over time. I do not keep it in the water. It seems more are showing up as the weather gets hotter. They are only along the edges on the stern highed in the picture. Am I in big trouble? Im out of pocket alot for the boat and I cant send several more thounds of dollars, hopefully this will be a diy kinda thing.

They aren’t serious, but they don’t look good either, so it depends on how much they bother you as to whether you repair them or not.

There are a couple of reasons they may be so localized, and it has to do with their method of building the boat, it should be confined to the skin coat they applied as a first layer. One of the likely causes would be poor rolling to get the air out, I say this because in one pick they appear to be almost in a line. There are other possible reasons, but it involves more typing.

You can fix them yourself, but matching the color can be a bit difficult at times, if you decide to go for it more instructions can be given. It’s better to wait a while and see how bad they get before jumping in and repairing them right away. If you don’t wait more may show up after fixing these and then you may end up doing it again., many times even redoing the first repair.
