Steering tight/hard to turn when i turn right

Hi yall,
I have a 1999 regal 2100 lsr. This spring I was taking my boat out and my trim solenoid went out so at the boat ramp I had to take the pin/rod out that raises and lowers the out drive so I didn't drag my outdrive.
Now when I speed up it is hard to turn to the right. If I slow down its fine. Steering wheel was a little off. I adjusted that but it's still hard to turn right when under a load. Turning left is smooth. Any thoughts?

I believe it is. Let me go take a picture of the engine compartment real quick and I will post it

Yes sir it does! Didn't even think to check that since It was at the mechanic this spring.
Pulled the dipstick and it was dry.

Stating the obvious here, but you have a leak in the power assist somewhere.
.....something else for you to check periodically.

Just lowered the cradle and took it for a spin. Turns great! I still can't believe I overlooked that.

I will clean the engine compartment so I can see where my leak is. Again I really appreciate the quick response!

One place that won't show up easily is the power steering cooler. That would be a pressure test in the cooler inlet and outlet lines. The leaked oil goes right out through the exhaust with the cooling water.

I will watch the level and if I don't see anything I will have it pressure tested. I don't need to be leaking anything and have it go into the lake. We have plenty of weekend warriors coming from Dallas to their lake house doing that
