I have a 1994 bayliner Capri. I left for 7 months on deployment and when I came back the steering was completely locked up. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start to fix my problem?
It is a 4.3 L mercruiser v6 and im pretty sure the steering is hydraulicly driven because there is a reservoir on the engine. The fluid is full in the reservoir so i dont think that the pump is the issue. The steering does not work with the engine running or turned off.
