Steering locked up on 1989 Larson senza 210

Well I started to pull the cable off the back of the boat and it seems the sleeve is stuck or the cable is stuck in the sleeve. I can't tell what's the sleeve and what the cable. I pulled the pin at the end and there a alum looking shaft with a end that turns with a hole in it, is that the cable . I have no clue how to get the cable out or the sleeve off .

Need help ASAP guys , anyone know where to get the sleeve and maybe cable

I doubt you need a new tube or a new cable. The problem sounds like the end of the is probably stuck in that tube and why the steering is locked up. Heat helps, along with a mallet and a dowel rod will usually knock the cable out of the tube. NEVER hit the end of the cable with a metal object. If you bend the end, you will never get it apart,

Ok that sounds better. I think my prob is that I can't tell what's the tube and what's the cable so I'am not sure what to heat up or beat on . The tube is black, the alum looking shaft that comes out with the end that has the hole in it... Is that all the cable and it must oust through the black bigger sleeve

Well, what kind of drive do you have, and do you have power steering or not? Type of boat means nothing,

Oh sorry about that, it's a alpha one se106 and it does have power steering

In the picture below, the tube is gray, the cable end is green.

Great thanks , so I need to heat the end of the grey tube and try to beat the cable to the nut end, got it
