Steering Cable

I have a 1990 Sea Ray with a 4.7 I/O and have a bad steering cable. I have purchased a new one, how do I get the old one out and put the new one in? I have never worked on boats before.

Do a search on youtube theres multiple videos on there of what to do...

Un-hook both ends follow it under the gunnel cutting all the zip tys and decide which end to pull it out thru.

Thanks for the help, but it seems to be frozen in the tube thats hooked to the stering pump.
