Stator Charge coils

I have been working on a Johnson GT150.
I was told the stator was replaced.
Question: The brown & brown/yellow going to the power packs do not match the wires position.
Meaning: The brown/yellow wire from the stator connects to the solid brown in the power pack.
What issues this could create?

Have you looked up a wiring diagram? Looks like that is supposed to be that way

Yes, I have. I am just trying to understand if there is a functionality difference between the brown and brown/yellow. (besides the colors)!

They look to be part of the kill circuit.
