hello all
have a 78 Merc 80 hp as you all may know just put new stator,trigger,rectifier on went to start it will only fire off starting fluid I havnt checked fuel pump yet but I did clean carbs i havnt checked to see if fuel in bowls yet do you think fuel pump is bad by any chance and should I get a rebuild kit for carbs and looking for part numbers for both I’ve searched but not sure what fuel pump I need thanks

Make sure the choke closes, and choke the daylights out of her when cold starting. She won't flood...
