Starter wont engage flywheel.

Well, I tried swapping the module and trying again, same results. No firing on the motor. So it isn't the module, the coil, or the dizzy.
No cracks or damage to the distributer cap. Inside contacts also look good. Batteries are brand new, voltage is good at the batteries, and at the positive lead of the starter. The motor appears to be spinning over quickly.

I'm wondering if it could be something so simple as a dodgy HT coli wire ?.

caps can look to be in good shape but the track internally can be busted .

On AD’s # 34 post the troubleshoot procedure refers to post “E” which provides 12v to the coil. You need to test the female side of the connector that there is 12v present when the engine is cranking mode. There may be 12v with the key on before cranking but not when cranking. So it may be a weak contact on the “bypass” circuit.

Ok, so I tested the plug e that should be supplying power to the coil. Red lead to the cable, black to a good ground on the block. No voltage before or during cranking. And the module is brand new.

The coil (Red wire) comes from the Main Power Relay (MPR) item 12, and gets it's power from the Main harness to EFI harness connector item 15 which comes from 50 amp motor breaker

Also note there is a fuse (1 of 3 fuses) that feeds the MPR under a rubber cap next to the relays
