I agree with everything you have said, the only concern is the hulls rollers not being a wobble style that would stay flat with changes in the contact angle to the hull. I have a couple that contact on the edge instead of the flat of the roller and can be fixed by bending the straight axle rods to conform. I will be placing the boat back on the recently acquired Calkins tonight and see how the roller line up with the internal ribs (good point).

Thanks for the reply and I'm glad to know the rollers are standard issue from Starcraft. I really like the style and length of the Calkins and with a few little adjustments it should work well with the boat.
