Hi all. New to this forum and boating in general (very green!). Yesterday I purchased a ‘64 StarCraft Seamist then noticed a similar boat in old family photos. Can anyone tell me if these are one and the same? Maybe there’s a way to tell?

Believe I answered my own question. I think my Grandpa’s was a Mirrocraft.

They're different. Your new to you boat has a splash rail running along the hull. The one in the old b&w photo doesn't have that. One of the more obvious differences between the two.
