This is a great idea for the these Starcraft boats. They seem to be the most popular boat to build. Nice job on this post. Very awesome.

Re: Starcraft Rebuilds and Restorations, they're all here!

OK guys, I only had a few minutes to try and update this thread. Here's who I added:

lazyboy's Islander

redwing's Holiday

bluefins Super Sport

boatnuts Super Sport

chap's Super Sport

showmeguy's Super Sport

nature's Holiday

dozer's V5

chiefs Mariner

My head is kinda spinning. I just scanned the first page of the Starcraft forum, haven't even sifted the Resto Forum. Man, I can't keep up with the new projects flying through here! Wough!

If you guys see one I missed or haven't yet added to that first page, feel free to post up here and I'll be happy to add.

Cheers!:thumb:

What year of Starcraft do I have?

What year of Starcraft do I have?

Hi all,

I'm the proud owner of what I think is a 1965 Starcraft Jupiter. Any views? Thanks for any replies.

Ive got a 1967 16' Mariner getting close to completion. Not sure if I'm worthy of being on the list though, some beautiful projects there.

Re: Starcraft Rebuilds and Restorations, they're all here!

0902131240a.jpgI've been looking for a Starcraft, for a few years, and finally found one. I found it outside of Portland, OR. The title says it's an 18' but doesn't have the model. Here's the description: it has a small cuddy, a 140 hp Mercruiser, and a Mercruiser outdrive. I'll post a pic of it, so you can see the starting point. The engine runs great but the outdrive won't shift. The owner, said the cable broke. Maybe I'll luck out and just have to get new cables. floor is a little mushy, so I'll replace it. The second owner painted the boat with a roller, didn't tip the paint, and had apparently never heard of masking tape. Anyway, the hull is sound, and has only a couple of pretty small dings. I think she's a great candidate for my winter project.
