Well done Jas. She looks to be in great shape and that bug screening sure can come in handy, especially if ya take it up across the Mighty Mak to the land of the giant mosquitoes. And speaking of salmon, next friday will be heading to the west side for 10 days of salmon slammin.

Moral of the story, hankey pankey in a pop up is risky business and not that appealing to those camping around you, got it:eek:

---------------------------

Yeo, yah, I'd be lying if I said I didn't see the need for certain modifications on this camper.

I do see some real value hauling this out west to the Rockies and using it as a base camp for climbing trips.

I can also see this slug making for a pretty nice "hunting shack" for deer season.

Course both of those uses would involve Jen's new cute little camper becoming quite a bit more utilitarian:thumb:

-----------------------------------

Roscoe, yup, I definately need another tow vehicle now. The Civic is even more irrelevant as of yesterday.

-----------------------------------

Willy, enjoy the big lake and be sure to hit us with some reports eh!

Nice camper, even better deal.

2nd tow vehicle you say? Might as well go for the trifecta:

Nice find man! Your "bones" will thank you for being 2 feet off of the cold ground... just extended the camping/fishing season by another month at least!

Don't use it as much as I'd like. I like rustic, the Admiral likes hot showers. The kids don't care.

They also like to sleep out in the yard.

The screen is very nice, need to find one of those.

Noticed a couple of bees nest while taking this pic.

Nice find, ENJOY.

My wife is applying lots of pressure for a pop-up. I've evaluated the situation and the Offshore is getting traded for a pop-up. All the 14 footers go, I'll settle for a 16 foot SS with an outboard. Living in the city I don't have a ton of room and the I/O is not a great choice for the Detroit River in March/April or October/November.

Great find jas, I like the plans for it.

My wife wants one of those, but to make it work we would need two tow rigs...

I do see bumper pull campers with a bumper pull boat behind every now and again
I always wonder how long it takes for them to get pulled over...

Well look who came out of hibernation!!! HA, how's your boat doing?

Hey Dave! The SS is in the garage here in Fort Wayne, drydock status.

I've been busy with other stuff for a while now, but I am ready to get to work on a few things pretty soon here.:)

Yes it is a steal. Plus that awning/screen tent can have you outside if its raining. Doubles your space. Great find.

Dang Jason, do people just pull you over and say here buy this Cheap..haha. I never thought I was a camper guy either, but years of tents, backpacking and work the old back said Enough! It sure is nice to wake up rested and pain free, plus the Grandkids love sleeping in Grandpas camper.

I have a Coleman Crawdad I haul on mine, Headed to Utah in 3 weeks for a couple weeks of mountain trout. Great buy and enjoy!!:thumb:
