The 14' and 16' Mariners look exactly like Kingfishers and the latter appear to have been made only in those lengths (except 15' for two years). What is the difference if any in these two models. Were they just named differently in certain years but are essentially the same boat? The larger Mariners are different boats with deeper sides and transom. I have a 1977 / 14' that I guessed was a Kingfisher but perhaps it's really a Mariner.
