Re: Starcraft Hanger

There you go Fsh, a Starcraft club house, but it is a little far for everyone to get together. As I said about plans in an earlier post they get kicked out from under you. The only insulation blower avalible in my area, is out till next week so I can't insulate the attic till the first weekend in March. Turns out after spending $160. bucks on my free furnace the controller board is pooched. Had to bite the bullet and order a new furnace, another two weeks. At this rate I won't need the shop to get the SS ready, I will be able to work on it out side.

Re: Starcraft Hanger

Well progressing slowly, it has been very cold here and my furnace didn't show up friday, like it was supposed to. Have been using a Mr Heater 55000 btu contractors heater to keep the cold at bay. All I have left is the furnace and weather stripping on the overhead door, and start the move in.

The new work bench, 16.5' x 2'

12' x 2' x 15" deep, stroage cabinets

Its ok Dozer. Slow progress is still progress. Strange thing about the cold and winter, you can count on it returning next year, so the SS will have a nice home when its needed. Forget about getting a heater now, what about the AC?

I don't no whats going on with the photos, I posted them as per woodonglass's instruction and they are there one minute and gone the next, I will change them to thumbnails at least I know that works,
FSH it will be a while before we need AC here the next two week forcast is horrible. And they are calling for a way colder then normal spring.
Jason I hope the thumbnails work????

So spring must be here. Warm weather, hard water turns soft, birds come back. It?s official spring is here. How do I know? Well the furnace arrives and is setup just in time for when you don?t need it. At least that?s how it works in my world. LOL
Great to see the progress Dozer. If I?m every in your neck of the woods I will try to visit the Starcraft clubhouse.

Thanks GLG, that's exactly what I'm thinking. The moment I turn the gas and power on the heat I won't need it any more. Any time your in the area the coffee is hot and the beer is always cold.

That would be cool, Rockgeln is 3.5 hours east of us, We are 56 Km south of the Trans Canada hwy at Gull lake.
I fired up the furnace yesterday and for the first time this year we hit + 8c (46), but that's okay we wre back in the cold for the next couple days. Weather stripping on the big door this afternoon, and the SS moves home on Saturday.

Gull Lake is where I turn to head to Rockglen. Must have drove by your place more than a few times. We usually stop at Gull Lake for food and beverages when we go to reunions at a place called Wood Mountain. The first time I took my wife there she said where is the lake? Next stop she said where is the mountain. LOL
Man this winter seems long. Keep warm.

Thanks HA It is pretty nice up here, we are right on the edge of the transition to bald@$#$ priarie. 13 Km 9m west is the start of the Cypress hills very pretty country and full of dinasour bones, including what is claimed to be the world largest and most complet TRex. Walking the hills you can pick up bones with out digging. We don't have a lot of natural lakes, they are mostly man made reservoirs, but they have been around for over half a century and loaded with great fishing. Anytime your in the area look us up.
Thanks GLG, this winter has been mighty long and is far from done here yet, but I'm nice and warm now. I have to work a couple of hours this morning but the SS is on the move this afternoon and I will post some pics. I did get the weather stripping up yesterday.

The SS looks great in there, plenty of room for her:)

The boat looks great, is that a bimini or a camper top?
