Hello,

This boat is for sale in my area. I'm not sure what it is. Any ideas of year or model?

Thanks in advance

Not so sure that is a Starcraft....... the stepped gunwale and the splash strake make it look wrong.

Hey who cares!! If you like it and it's aluminum....... and you are willing to restore it.......... go for it :D

Comox Sam! Are you at the base? CYQQ?

Anyways, welcome to the tin boat club. I don't think it is a Starcraft, but then again it is tin as Bob pointed out and man, that is going to be a great restored boat once you are done. She looks to be about 18-19' and deep "v". Am I correct in that?

I'm not going to guess on the make, but the gunwales appear to me to either have been homemade or have an attachment slide thingy set-up...maybe for a bimini or hard top at one time...looks like one piece with the rub rail track built in.
Heres a quick zoom, you can see the diamond plate corner cap and what looks like a slide apparatus a couple feet forward....

Also, be sure to look her over extremely well ...IMO it looks as though there may be some damage from the looks of the keel area on this next shot...also appears some photoshop work may have been done...use caution....

I'm just throwing this out there for whatever it's worth, zooming doesn't always prove anything, and I'm no detective...just my observations ;)

Yes, how did you know?

The boat is listed as a Starcraft. I haven't been to see it yet as the guy won't return my email. It is listed as a 17ft.

I love old aluminum boats. Thanks for the help and the welcome everyone.
