Starcraft Factory Paint type?

Does anyone know what Starcraft used in their production in the 70’s and 80’s?

Surely they were a one coat system for both topside and bottom?

Or would they actually have put a anti-fouling paint on the bottom?

In an automated production sense, I’d assume they would have done a Chem wash, coat of primer followed by a topcoat unless the paint finish was a direct to metal coating.

Anybody know?

Makes sense. Perhaps liquid paint electrostatically applied?
I cant see it being powder coated. The build is too thin.
It's a vinyl paint of some sort, that was baked. Makes it hard to remove... I think based on color, the primer was chromate based.

powder coat was not used in the 70's and 80's on boats. at least for the Mirrocraft it was a wet-spray process by two blokes smoking cigarettes prior to the conveyor taking it into an oven.

I’ve seen them doing this to back in the day. (Industrial shop)
