Starcraft Boat Hull Sealing

Hi,I have some welding to do then want to seal the rivets,should i prime first
then use gluvit,or vise versa before i paint,also what is a good paint to use on aluminum boat.

(ps Have lots of pics will post later reinforce the inside the same as newer Starcraft,mine is a 74 I/O got some damage on lake Erie went air borne a few times,not good for the hull.)

clean well then Gluvit, then what ever else you want. i have had great luck with just plain old high gloss oil base Rustoleum. they even now have marine Rustoleum, in many colors

yeah i cleaned mine wire brush,compressed air and some solvents and let it dry then applied the gluvit, which is good stuff. Good luck with ur build man
