Looked like a nice dry ride even with those pounders bouncing you guys.

We did get a little spray on occasion, but I was surprised how dry the ride was. :joyous:

The other nice thing was no water drained from the hull after. Not bad for a +40 year old Tinny.

Also learned that texting and waves don't mix that well.

How great is that? I've got to get one of those grills. It looks like the perfect way to spend time with your son.

Wmann - This was the first time these guys were out on the boat. Sure it won't be the last.

old - Adding the grill was one of the best upgrades for a day on the water. Grilled food beats the heck out of sandwiches. It is also great to go out for an evening cruise, grill and watch the sunset on the water.

Found this cover shipped to a Sam Walton store for $75.00. Makes a good dust cover, don't know if their "trailerable" claim is true. I'll let you know in the near future.

If it makes it 4-500 miles I'll consider it worth it. Then look at adding poles and adding to the wear points.

Lago86, you might be interested in the update.

Had some maintenance items to address. The led shown above was used to replace the anchor light. Paid $12, came with 2 bulbs and a socket. Also had 10 watch batteries. Spliced it in and it works great.

Also had to pull the bilge switch and light switch apart and clean the contacts.

last thing was to pull the horn apart and clean all the bug crap out of it.

Sure is nice to have everything working as it should.

Had a week on the water in Northern Michigan. Weather was great for the most part.

Our son completed the boaters safety course prior to leaving. He was very pleased to be able to capt'n the Mariner all by himself.

If PB is working the below is a video of time on the water.

Looking good, that boater test is a milestone for your boy and his boating future,

I've had a horrible time with PB lately, several minutes for the page to load if it ever does.

Pretty sure he will be boating for a long time. I can see how much he enjoys it.

I took GA's advice and changed from ad blocker to ad blocker plus. It has helped with PB.

The only other thing I can think of is I'm being punished for not upgrading to windows 10. It takes big brother longer to track stuff in windows 8.

Big Brother tracking WAS free with W10, now it cost $199.00.
