stalls in neutral

I have a '92 Johnson 9.9 that ran beautifully for a couple of years. All of a sudden it stopped running at idle speed in or out of gear. I have to give it throttle to keep it going. It runs good at speed (half, full, etc.) Any suggestions.

To start, when was the carb last bathed and rebuilt?

Haven't cleaned/bathed carb since I've had the boat, about 6 years now. It's only used in the summer (4 months).

I'm new here. What's the sticky?

a sticky is a thread that stays stuck to the top of the forum, does not moved down as other thread are posted. here the info. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=244013

6 years, sitting all winter, deposts form in the carbs, the when running they bread loose, blocking the jets.
