I normally don't take Muskys pics but since a few here have been on me I thought i would show you a forty incher..The blood you see on my hand was from the first pic..Coped an attitude on me when I opened her mouth..Lost a real nice one after she came flying out of the water and broke a beak on my swim whiz..The duck was there also but was driving the boat.. <br /><br />Put in on the Canadian side"Belle River"..I will say one thing about our Canadian Neighbors is that they are the friendliest folks you ever want to meet..I got turned around a little(lost)and a guy took me to the area I was lookn for..<br /><br />

Next time you put try Deerbrooke, about 2 miles east of belle river.Lots of tourneys out of there,and they are helpful, and know all the hot spots. Jim

Thanks cuzner...Going to get go at least one more time this year..Southern Ohio has Muskie but not like the weight class you find in the Canadian waters..

That was # 9 this year Muskyone..All others were below the 40" mark...From now til freeze over is when the 45 plus will be around..<br /><br />I do know this the bigger you are the smaller the fin looks..JB that fin looks as big as you...lol..did she go about 45?

Got ya a brand spankn new Musky Hat from Rollins to replace the one you loaned to me..Then Again I would still have that hat if my co-pilot hadn't led us in to that Killer Tree ambush..

gonfishn, have you been to C. Creek or heard of anyone who have taken any gators out this year? I just came back from northern WI doing some gator huntin and now have the itch (musky fever...not the other). It's been dormant for 10 years, and was reactivated via a single drizzly day with a dozen different sightings and one in the boat.

Welcome aboard SmokeHunter..Ceasars should pick up now that the party boaters fron the cincy area have gone into hiberation..<br /><br />Not alot of musky headlines so far..Although the bassers were cussing em this spring cause the gators were hitting on the small cranks..<br /><br />See your not to far from me...If ya got the itch we may hook up sometime to test the waters...<br /><br />You haven"t been around lonG enough to hear of my escapes when fellow iboaters and I have hooked up..There are many from past threads...But I do catchem..except...n/m

Had a chance to fish St. Clair two summers ago.... I'm truely spoiled needless to say. Took more fish those 7 days up there than I do down here in 6 months. I live in Southern Ohio so I do alot of Ohio River bass fishing and catch my fare share but NOTHING like St. Clair. We fished for smallies and largemouths mainly but still caught alot of muskies, pike, and if I'm not mistaken a couple of perch. We fished during the bass spawn "protecting" weeks in early June that summer but we were fishing for muskie's (wink wink)! If the smallies weren't hittin' we'd run into one of the dozens of coves, marinas, or cannals and caught the pi$$ out of the largemouth. I had one eager muskie come up to the boat and sit watching me.... I had my rod on the casting deck fixing a 5 dollar Terminator spinner bait and I set the bait proablly 6" out of the water. I looked up at my friend and his Dad and had time to laugh at a joke, the next thing I know it that muskie leaped, bit off the spinner bait, and ran splashing me with his wake. 5 bucks to a hungry muskie I wasn't even fishing for. My fishin' buddies got a kick out of it so I guess it wasn't all that bad, and it wasn't the only spinner I lost that week or that day for that matter. Sorry for the long post just figued I'd humor you guys!
